Good Space

Good Space is a unique platform supporting creative, inclusive and meaningful volunteering opportunities in arts, heritage, and sports organisations. You might want to do some flexible and remote volunteering, or you may prefer to get out and meet people in a more public-facing role. Volunteering is about building connections, finding your purpose and wellbeing, and gaining valuable skills and experience. When you volunteer through Good Space, you’ll be awarded digital badges that reveal the skills, abilities and learning involved – so it’s a great way to show potential employers what you can do. Good Space help everyone connect with volunteering roles that match their interests and abilities, and provide lasting benefits – not only for their communities but also for themselves.

The Wild Mind Project

The Wild Mind Project are offering a new monthly drop-in session in a safe space in nature for 16 to 25-year-olds. You can share your thoughts or feelings with other queer young people who are probably experiencing the same emotions or worries as you.
A typical session might include a nature walk, gardening or just a place to sit and talk while you choose from a range of creative activities such as drawing, basket weaving, needle felting, whittling, lino cutting or cooking on an open fire.
Importantly you will have the opportunity to develop a supportive network of new friends that last beyond the session.
